Housekeepers care for and prepare guest rooms and common areas to the service standards and expectations of Twin Farms. From room make-ups and turndowns to full room turnovers, this role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and pride in presentation.

Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Daily tasks involve renewing, refreshing, straightening, cleaning, clearing, and sanitizing guest accommodations and shared spaces. Housekeeping team members must be able to respond quickly and efficiently to changing guest needs and priorities.

Essential functions include (but are not limited to):

  • Daily preparation: inventory check and loading of supplies for the shift
  • Room make-up / turndown service: remove trash and laundry; sanitize and clean bathrooms, fixtures, mirrors, and eating areas; dust; vacuum; make beds; replenish amenities (firewood, toiletries, etc.); reset fireplaces as needed
  • Room turnovers: prepare rooms for guest check-in, including stripping and making beds with fresh linens, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking amenities
  • Common area upkeep: maintain cleanliness and presentation of common areas
  • Laundry support (as needed): gather and transport linens and laundry; load machines, fold, store, and deliver items as required
  • Closet restocking: inventory and restock housekeeping closets with linens and amenities
  • Department space upkeep: maintain laundry building, bathrooms, break rooms, and office areas
  • Vehicle use: operate a company vehicle carefully; ensure vehicles are cleared of supplies and refuse at the end of each shift
  • Efficiency and accuracy: complete work thoroughly and on time while maintaining service standards
  • Reporting: observe and report maintenance issues, missing inventory, or damage
  • Other duties: assist with additional tasks as assigned

Physical Requirements

This is an active, physically demanding position. Team members must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, and perform repetitive hand and upper-body movements associated with cleaning, bed-making, vacuuming, and handling linens.
  • Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift or handle items weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance or appropriate equipment when needed.
  • Regularly climb and descend stairs while carrying linens, amenities, cleaning supplies, firewood, and other items weighing approximately 20–30 pounds.
  • Push and pull housekeeping carts, linen carts, vacuums, and other equipment.
  • Transport laundry, supplies, amenities, and other materials between guest accommodations and department areas.
  • Work throughout multiple buildings and guest accommodations across the property.
  • Safely perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
