The Ancillary Facilities Manager oversees the day-to-day care, maintenance, and readiness of Twin Farms’ employee housing and ancillary properties.
This is a hands-on facilities role. The position is responsible for personally completing routine repairs, general carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical work, painting, drywall repair, furniture and fixture repairs, property inspections, preventative maintenance, and housing turnover preparation.
The Ancillary Facilities Manager will independently troubleshoot maintenance issues, complete work within their capabilities, and coordinate with the Twin Farms Facilities team or outside licensed contractors when specialized support is needed.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs across employee housing and ancillary properties.
Complete general carpentry, drywall, painting, caulking, and finish work.
Address basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, fixture, door, lock, window, and furniture repairs.
Conduct regular property inspections and preventative maintenance.
Prepare employee housing for move-ins and move-outs, including repairs and turnover work.
Track maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
Coordinate vendors and specialized trades when needed.
Maintain tools, supplies, keys, inventories, and property records.
Support seasonal property needs, including winterization and exterior upkeep.
Partner with Human Resources and Facilities on housing condition, occupancy, and property needs.
Respond to occasional urgent facilities or housing needs outside normal business hours.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, comfortable working independently, and genuinely enjoys hands-on maintenance and problem-solving.
