The International Director of Member Services coordinates the work of an international team composed of 12 Delegation Directors, located throughout the world, some of whom are supported by coordinators, who assist members across the Association’s 20 geographic “delegations”, help deploy services and programs initiated by Headquarters, and prepare and implement the local action plans decided within each delegation. Each Delegation Director works closely with the local delegate, a Relais & Châteaux member elected to bring together, engage and represent the members of the delegation. The Member Services team is now 26 pax.
The International Director of Member Services coordinates the work of the Employer Brand team, composed of 2 people. The team helps ensure the best use possible of the HR tools that the Association (recruitment website & ATS) provides to its members and promotes the network to relevant schools and institutions capable of providing talents to our members.
The role is responsible for planning and organizing all the Association’s main member meetings throughout the year, including national or regional delegation meetings and business-specific meetings for chefs, sales teams and human resources teams. The role is accountable for their proper execution.
Proven and solid managerial skills: leading a team spread across many countries internationally; managing experienced and autonomous profiles; supporting more junior profiles with strong potential.
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to develop relationships with the Association’s members across all countries.
In-depth knowledge of the hospitality and restaurant industry, with a genuine interest in this sector.
Understanding of the luxury sector of this industry.
International profile: experience in several different countries is valued.
Bilingual: English / French. One additional language, such as Spanish, German or Italian would be appreciated.
Travel : A strong desire to travel. The role consists in approximately 50% of the year travelling around the world.
