The Ivy Hotel is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to support daily housekeeping operations and maintain the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest service. This hands-on role involves supporting housekeeping staff, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, coordinating daily assignments, and ensuring all spaces are properly maintained. The ideal candidate leads by example, communicates effectively, and takes pride in creating an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily housekeeping activities and ensure cleaning standards are consistently met.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance needs.
Assist with daily assignments, room readiness, and team coordination.
Train and support housekeeping staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
Monitor and restock linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
Communicate guest requests, room status updates, and maintenance concerns to management.
Follow hotel safety procedures and ensure proper handling of cleaning products.
Assist with cleaning duties as needed to support daily operations.
Able to work AM and PM shifts including Overnight when needed
Previous supervisory housekeeping experience required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Dependable, professional, and able to work well with a team.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet daily deadlines.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
